PNAMDC Induction Gala Shined Bright at MGM National Harbor
The Philippine Nurses Association of Metropolitan DC, Inc. (PNAMDC) celebrated a dazzling milestone on August 16, 2025, with its Induction of Officers Gala at the MGM National Harbor. The evening, filled with elegance and camaraderie, brought together nurses, community leaders, and supporters to honor the outgoing executive board and welcome new officers who will carry the torch forward.
Guests gathered in a grand ballroom illuminated by glittering lights and adorned with a diamond theme, perfectly capturing the resilience, brilliance, and dedication of the Filipino-American nursing community in the DC Metropolitan area.

For the outgoing leadership, the evening was both emotional and inspiring. “It took me some time to gather my thoughts (and recover :D)after the unforgettable PNAMDC Induction of Officers Gala. As I looked around the room, my heart was full seeing so many dear friends and community partners who have supported our mission over the last two year. It truly meant the world to end my term with them still by my side.” shared the outgoing president.

Reflecting on the journey of the past term, she highlighted the organization’s many successes. “We not only achieved our goals but surpassed them, thanks to the collective effort of the executive board, committee chairs, and every member who contributed their time, energy, and passion. Each of you has played a vital role in our accomplishments, and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work alongside such passionate and dedicated individuals.” she added.
The highlight of the evening was the induction of Aimee Sarmiento as the new President, alongside the incoming officers who are ready to continue PNAMDC’s mission of professional excellence, community service, and cultural pride. “As we welcome Aimee and the new officers, I am filled with excitement for the future. They are poised for success, and I have every confidence that they will continue the work we’ve started and take it to new heights,” she expressed.
The gala was not only a celebration of leadership transition but also a reaffirmation of PNAMDC’s unwavering commitment to its members and the broader community. With laughter, heartfelt speeches, and renewed dedication, the event closed on a hopeful note, setting the stage for another chapter of impactful service.
