Amor Studio Salons, a luxury salon suite brand, is continuing its expansion across the DMV area, strengthening its presence among independent beauty professionals seeking high-end, autonomous workspaces. With its flagship Bethesda location and a newly opened, larger studio in Tysons, the company is laying the groundwork for additional growth throughout Northern Virginia.

Bethesda

Amor Studio Salons first opened in Bethesda, Maryland, where founders Kellye and Dennis Amor introduced a luxury salon suite model designed to give beauty professionals full control over their businesses. The concept was shaped by Kellye Amor’s more than a decade of experience in traditional salons, where commission-based structures often limited independence.

Located at 4964 Fairmont Avenue, the Bethesda studio features private, upscale suites within a Class A mixed-use building that includes luxury condominiums. By owning the space rather than leasing it, the founders were able to maintain quality, pricing control, and long-term stability, key factors that helped establish Amor Studio Salons as a premium destination for beauty entrepreneurs.

Since opening in 2022, the Bethesda location has become home to a growing roster of stylists, estheticians, nail technicians, and wellness professionals, many of whom continue to expand their client bases while remaining part of the Amor community.

Tysons

In early December 2025, Amor Studio Salons officially opened its Tysons, Virginia location at 7917-B Westpark Drive. While the Tysons studio reflects the same luxury layout, design, and operational model as the Bethesda location, it offers a larger square footprint, allowing for additional suites and expanded shared amenities.

The Tysons location was developed to meet increasing demand from Northern Virginia beauty professionals looking for upscale, independent spaces without sacrificing community. The expanded size enables the brand to serve more artists while maintaining the refined, professional atmosphere that defines Amor Studio Salons.

One notable addition at the Tysons location is an on-site café operated by Gwenie’s Pastries, bringing a food and beverage component to the studio environment. The café is expected to serve both salon professionals and visiting clients, enhancing the overall experience and reinforcing the location’s community-oriented atmosphere.

Scaling Without Losing Identity

As Amor Studio Salons grows, the company has focused on maintaining consistency across locations. The Bethesda and Tysons studios share similar layouts and finishes, ensuring a familiar experience for artists and clients alike. According to the company, this approach allows the brand to scale while preserving the quality and culture that attracted beauty professionals in the first place.
